What is Anki?
Anki is a spaced repetition flashcard program which facilitates remembering things such as vocabulary items, for instance. Because it is a lot more efficient than traditional flash cards, you can either greatly decrease your time spent studying, or greatly increase the amount you learn.

What is Spaced Repetition?
Spaced repetition is a learning technique that incorporates increasing intervals of time between subsequent review of previously learned material; this exploits the psychological spacing effect.
How do I use Anki?
Download Anki. Once you have installed the software, launch Anki. It will prompt you to download a database (“shared deck”). In the search box, type “Indonesian”. The decks “The Indonesian Way” No. 1-4 are ours. Currently there are about 900 words, but we will upload another 1000 words soon. You should use Anki on a regular basis, preferably every day for 10 minutes.
